at The Double M

Excalibur's Youngin's

We are done for this season of lambing.  We have had 27 ewes lamb this year.  We are VERY pleased with the lambs that we have had out of Excalibur.  He has produced Tall & Long Lambs.  We acquired him from Pumphrey Suffolks last spring.  He is a great addition to our flock.

We are already looking forward to next lambing season.  We purchased another ram from Windswept Ranch in Willits, Calinfornia.  We have named him Sir Lancelot.  He is another positive addition to our flock and we look forward to seeing his lambs next season.  Look for pictures of him on the "At the Double M" page and see the 3 yearling ewes that we purchased at the same time.

This is our 2nd Place, January Class, Ewe @ The Washington Bred Ewe & Ewe Lamb Sale in Kennewick, Wa. 2006.

First Lamb of the Season

This fine ram lamb was born on Christmas morning to

SBS 16 (Kay Sue).  This is Excalibur's first offspring.

Excalibur is producing some awesome lambs that have long legs and bodies.  We are very excited to see every lamb born, and look forward to how they will turn out.

50 Lambs So Far

We have had 20 lambs born between December 25th and January 12th.

We will start lambing again around February 19th.
